Low-voltage or high-voltage battery
The inverter series decides the battery type. Low-voltage systems use parallel battery modules and suit most homes. High-voltage systems stack modules in series and are common for larger or three-phase homes.
Always check the battery compatibility list in the inverter datasheet.
Backup
Decide which circuits must keep running in a power cut, and check the inverter's backup output for them. The installer wires those circuits to the backup port.
